As an Open and Affirming congregation, Hopeville Church is proud to partner with and support LGBTQI groups who need a space to call their own. But anyone can lend space – we also want to help promote these efforts to build a better LGBTQI infrastructure in the city of Waterbury. Here you can learn about our current partnerships.

PFLAG of Greater Waterbury

Founded in 1972, PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians And Gays) is a national organization committed to uniting families and allies with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer. PFLAG has a threefold mission of support, education, and advocacy. The Waterbury chapter of PFLAG began as an exploratory committee in November of 2016, and has been a full chapter since May of 2017.
