At Hopeville Church, we love food. We love cooking together, exchanging recipes, eating together, and sharing what we have with anyone who wants to sit at our table. Food is in our DNA, and it takes a front seat in our ministry efforts as well.
Hopeville Pantry
On the third Wednesday of each month, we open our doors to the neighborhood so that anyone in need can access our Hopeville Food Pantry. Stocked with non-perishable goods, our pantry helps individuals and families make it through the end of the month when money and benefits start to run low. There is no test of income or other qualification to participate – come as you are, and let us feed you. Or, if you want to give back to your community, come as you are and you can help us feed others!
Food For Hope
Beginning in January of 2018, we intend to build on our seamless meal program by beginning to offer weekend food packs for in-need students at Hopeville Elementary. Each Friday, we will deliver bags with food intended to help each student through the weekend, with additional supplies for long weekends and vacations. When summer comes, those who attend our meal program on Fridays will have the opportunity to take a food pack home with them. It costs about $30 each month to provide this service, and you can sponsor a child by visiting our online giving page and setting up a recurring monthly donation.
